It's Been A While

It's been a while since my last post. I have been busying myself with work, school, friends, STRESS and situations that just made me want to pull my hair out. I have overcome those for the most part and life is almost back to normal.

Life has been especially boring without my camera (the one thing that made my soul happy) Everyone says how much they miss seeing my photos, then I get sad all over again. ( I miss seeing my photos too!)
Just this past weekend I was able to accompany some of our pathfinders to an overnight campout. It was a hot sunny Day in the A ( Atlanta) I had the opportunity to use my little Kodak point and shoot camera. Not as much fun as the big boy one, but it was memories captured none the less.

The kids had a wonderful time. We climbed (more like walked up) a granite stone mountain. As the picture shows above, the kids had an awesome time on arrival to the top of the mountain which is 825 feet high, rises 1,683 feet above sea level and covers 583 acres of land. It takes about 30- 90 mins to get to the very top according to your energy and physical level.
As much as these kids make me talk and as much as they do not comply to rules and do their book work, I still love them. I always try to run away from kids but still manage to somehow find myself back with them again.

So there you have it. I will try my best to blog at least once a week...hehehe... Let's see how that goes.

I can feel spring in the air.

In just a few weeks spring will officially be on full swing. I cannot wait. Spring happens to be my favorite time of the year. Not as cold as ice and not as hot as fire. It gives ample opportunity to capture the trees with their blooms in their glory. The birds the bees and all the insect will be out collecting nectar and busying themselves to start new families, finding  new homes and cleaning out the old.

Spring is a time for renewal; out with the old , in with the new as the saying goes.

Do you have anything that you are trying to get rid of for the year. It's the second month of the year and by now some of your resolutions should be a little on their way.

Good luck on the resolutions if you have made any. I have not any. I just go with the flow and take them as they came and if they come, then I'll make changes as necessary.
